As the Queensmill Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) Team, we hope to be able to continue to offer you support and advice during this time. However, due to staffing, time and safety limitations, we are offering an altered service.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Public Health England has made the decision to stop routine and non-urgent appointments. As a result, all CLCH Speech and Language Therapists have been redirected to support patients with high risk conditions and urgent care needs.  Therefore, your child’s previous allocated CLCH Speech and Language  Therapist may not be available over this period. The Queensmill Speech and Language Therapist, Amy Rose McClean will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have, although there may be a delay in a response, so please be patient. All advice given will be universal and to the best of our ability, but as we may not know your child, we will not be able to target their specific needs.

We understand that you may be receiving regular telephone calls from the class teachers and school staff, so if you have raised any SALT related concerns with them, they will be happy to liaise with us for advice.

Alternatively, you can contact the Queensmill Speech and Language Therapist, Amy Rose McClean directly through the school switch board (0208 740 8112) or via the email (

During this time, we will be posting SALT related information, demonstration videos and resources via Firefly Online Learning Platform, under ‘home learning’. You will be updated as to how to access this platform when it becomes available.

Please see below for resources sharing information and ideas of activities that you can do at home with your child.
